WORKERS’ COMPENSATION LITIGATION

Final Hearing (Trial)
The parties to a workers’ compensation case are
required to go through multiple steps in order to
resolve their disputes. If there are outstanding
legal issues after exhausting the dispute resolution
process, a Final Hearing (trial) is scheduled. At
trial, the Judge of Compensation Claims can only
award or deny the benefits which are the subject of
the claim. A Judge of Compensation Claims may not
award a lump sum settlement at trial or at any other
time.
Mr. Fee and Mr. Chait litigate their cases from
inception by formulating legal arguments and
securing evidence which sets the case up for trial
if resolution does not occur beforehand. The
Druckman, Fee & Chait, P.A. strategy is to have the
client become an active member of the litigation
team. Mr. Fee and Mr. Chait have extensive
experience working up their cases and proceeding
through trial when applicable. Their common goal is
to maximize the outcome of the client’s case by
successfully implementing their trial skills amongst
other legal strategies.
