INSURANCE CARRIER CLAIMS FOR INDEMNIFICATION
|
Florida Law allows workers’ compensation insurance
carriers to bring forth claims for indemnification
against an employer when a claim has been made by an
injured worker who was not properly reported on that
employer’s last quarterly earnings report filed with the
Agency for Workforce Innovation.
Failure by the employer to indemnify the insurance
company within 21 days after demand for payment is
grounds for the insurance carrier to immediately cancel
coverage.
The attorneys at Druckman, Fee and Chait, P.A. are
available for immediate consultation. |
